I work with leaders, practitioners and partnerships across children's and adults' systems, with specialist knowledge in safeguarding, SEND and child sexual abuse, bringing a systems change approach and a relational way of working to complex problems.
I'm Shelley. I am a values led leader and I've spent 25 years working across children's services, domestic abuse and community development, and I bring all of that, along with my own family's story, into how I work now to support system working through relational, trauma informed practice.

Introducing the framework, in brief
I work with leaders, practitioners and managers to find what's missing, one piece at a time. The System Picture Framework looks at five elements: the pieces themselves, the shared picture everyone's working towards, the instructions that guide decisions, the conditions that let people trust each other, and the base of lived and living experience underneath it all.
It creates space for curiosity and honest conversation, and that's usually where the real change begins.
I can help you implement the framework through a workshop series called Pieces to Picture, and can offer a taster session to help you decide if this framework could work within your organisation and / or system. The full programme runs as three half days.
Other ways we can work together
The System Picture Framework is one offer, not the only one. I also work directly on strategy, policy review and organisational development - whether that's reviewing how a partnership is set up, helping a leadership team or board see where their own system needs attention, or supporting the practical work of change once a direction's been agreed. Whatever the need actually is, it gets the same relational, systems-change approach
Lived experience, including my own, runs through all of my work. It's not something I bring in at the end, it's part of how I work from the start.
